Terms of Service..

Brighter Glass is a friendly business and we do not want to seem to be coming down heavy on our customers but terms of business are in place to use as a guideline, therefore all concerned parties understand what to expect from us and what we expect from you.

Unless withdrawn in the interim, quotations are open for acceptance for a period of 30 days from the date of issue.

1/ By accepting our quote you are bound by our terms of business.

2/ We offer year round service so this means at certain times of the year cleans will take place in inclement weather, Brighter Glass reserve the right to decide if the clean should be carried out.

3/ We will not work in weather conditions or environments which we feel may cause danger to ourselves, the customer or members of the public.

4/ Whilst Brighter Glass will take reasonable care and consideration of customers goods and/or property

(a) It is the customers responsibility to inform us of any defects which may affect of be affected by any work carried out.

(b) Unless otherwise agreed WFP (water fed poles) will be the method used when cleaning windows. In some cases, especially with older style wooden framed windows water penetration may occur, in this situation the company accepts no responsibility for damage caused either internally or externally unless the damage sustained is as a direct result of the company’s negligence.

5/ Any insurance claims should be made in writing to Brighter Glass Professional Cleaning Services, whereupon our insurance company will act, in these cases Brighter Glass will not make any acceptance of blame as only the insurance company can decide upon fault.

6/ If you are unsatisfied with the results of the clean please contact us by phone, within 48 hours to report any poor work or complaints, If we cannot answer the phone at the time of your call, you must leave a message stating your name and the nature of the complaint as we accept no responsibility for claims made outside this timeframe. The most senior member of the company will deal with your complaint personally, and will, by arrangement, rectify any problems. Any complaint found not to be the fault of Brighter Glass will carry a callout charge of 50% of the clean value to cover time and travelling costs.

7/ All obstacles should be removed from the area to allow operatives to work in a safe manner; dogs should also be removed from the area as well as any animal excrement. We will if necessary make further charges to cover time taken to clear the area or for sanitation of equipment. If you are unable to do this, We will by arrangement clear the area in question but we reserve the right to charge for this service. (This service will be charged at a rate of 60 pence per minute)

8/ All windows will be cleaned unless it is not accessible or unsafe to do so, or in accordance with the customers instructions.

9/ All data collected from customers is used only for information and reference purposes. Any information will remain strictly confidential. Brighter Glass will not sell or pass on information to third parties for any reason without the express permission of the customer.
